The ceremonial final gala of the 7th edition of the Nationwide Film Competition of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) of Poland, “My Zero Vision: Farmer Well-Being – A Healthy Lifestyle”, was held on 28 November 2025. During the event, the winners of this year’s competition were presented and awarded.
The gala also served as an opportunity to highlight the efforts of young filmmakers to promote safe and health-conscious practices in agriculture, as well as to raise awareness of the international Vision Zero strategy.
The competition jury reviewed 63 submitted films and selected three top entries. In addition, three distinctions and two special awards were granted. Participants were tasked with producing a short preventive film promoting safe practices in agriculture, with particular emphasis on farmer well-being and a healthy lifestyle. One of the key requirements was to reference the three pillars of the My Zero Vision strategy and the Seven Golden Rules of Vision Zero.
Commenting on the submitted works, the President of KRUS, Tomasz Ślusarczyk, praised their high substantive and artistic quality, as well as the strong engagement of the young authors in promoting a healthy and safe rural lifestyle. He emphasized that the younger generation plays a crucial role in shaping attitudes that support occupational safety and personal responsibility for one’s own health and the health of others.

The competition forms part of KRUS’s preventive initiatives aimed at improving safety and quality of life on farms. By targeting children and young people, these activities seek to foster lasting positive attitudes that, in the long run, will help reduce the number of accidents and occupational diseases in agriculture.
The Vision Zero strategy is an initiative of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) focused on occupational safety and health. KRUS has been a member of the ISSA since 1991, and since 2018, has been an official partner of the Vision Zero, implementing its principles in the agricultural sector in Poland. The 7th edition of the competition “My Zero Vision: Farmer Well-Being – A Healthy Lifestyle” was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
