Call for safety culture in Cyprus

The Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) has called for stronger focus on developing a safety culture on the island, following a rise in work related accidents. According to a news report, seven lives have been lost in labour accidents, reversing a previous positive trend.
ETEK has drawn attention to the Vision Zero approach and its 7 Golden Rules, urging its members to increase the focus on safety and health measures, and also committing to work closely with the public authorities in this area.
