One year after the International Lime Association (ILA) joined Vision Zero, it takes steps to further intensify its Vision Zero work towards its 50th anniversary celebrations in 2020.

The International Lime Association (ILA) represents 1000 lime production enterprises worldwide that employ about 1 million workers. The Association organized its General Assembly and International Exchange Forum in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 9-11 October 2019. On this occasion, the ILA made a number of decisions to further strengthen its promotion of the Vision Zero strategy.

Newsletter, trainings and a Vision Zero Award!

The Association will produce and disseminate a regular Vision Zero Newsletter within the industry and offer Vision Zero Trainings for its member companies to promote a world of work based on safety, health and well-being.

To ensure the continuity of fostering Vision Zero, the ILA will organise a Vision Zero Award for innovative best practices within the industry, with the first Award to be presented at the 50th Anniversary of ILA in Paris, France, 14-16 October 2020.
