„Health and Safety Leadership in a Changing World of Work” is the theme of the Vision Zero Conference that will take place from 20th to 21st June 2024 at the Hotel Lalit Ashok in Bangalore, India.
The conference is jointly hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), with the support of the German Consulate General Bangalore. Lilian Tschan, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), will address the conference as a guest of honor.
The Vision Zero Conference in Bangalore seeks to present and discuss best practices in occupational safety and health and Vision Zero for industries, to build strategic alliances and partnerships among international and national safety and health practitioners, and to replicate the learnings and insights from the conference in companies and organizations. It thus provides a platform for CEOs, Senior Managers, health and safety professionals, policy makers, and other stakeholders to convene, share insights, and forge strategies for a safer India.
The conference will:
- present Vision Zero concepts in different industries and fields,
- discuss Vision Zero experiences and best practices, including with top management representatives,
- analyze occupational safety and health in the context of Industry 4.0, and
- relate sustainable development to occupational safety, health, and well-being.
