Today, 15 April 2025, marks the official launch of the SENEGAL VISION ZERO Strategy in Dakar. This significant milestone in the creation of the strategy has been initiated by the Social Security Fund (Caisse de Sécurité Sociale - CSS) and its Prevention Department, with support from the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The strategy has been developed through a collaborative process involving key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Labour and Employment, social partners, and academia, all of whom will play active roles in its implementation.

The SENEGAL VISION ZERO Strategy is set for the period from 2025 to 2032 and outlines 11 objectives along with the respective concrete measures. Special recognition is given to Amadou Massar SARR, the Secretary General of the Senegal Employer’s Association, for his strong commitment, and Marie Diallo from the CSS, who has been the driving force behind this remarkable success story.

Senegal is setting an example for other African countries with this initiative.
