The Vision Zero Steering Group met on 15 and 16 January 2020 in Cologne, Germany to discuss a number of exciting projects that are in the pipeline.
Of the over 1450 abstracts submitted to the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, taking place in Canada, 4-7 October 2020, at least one third deal with aspects linked to Vision Zero.
The International Social Security Association (ISSA), which developed the Vision Zero campaign, is now calling for contributions to a Vision Zero exhibition at the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, taking place in Canada, 4-7 October 2020.

A big thanks goes to our Vision Zero Partners from Mutual de Seguridad CChC (Mutual for Safety CChC) for having updated the Vision Zero App.

The app offers interactive checklists, analyses the results and gives an overview of the current status while showing the need for action on the operational level.

Spurred by several important meetings and events this autumn, the number of Vision Zero supporters is growing faster than ever, from 6300 in September to 7600 in November and reaching almost 9000 by December 2019.

(Warsaw, 20.11.2019) In 2019, the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund of Poland (KRUS) organized under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski the 1st National Youth Competition "My Vision Zero - Strategy for Prevention in Agriculture". The aim of the competition is to promote appropriate behaviour related to work on the farm among young people and to promote the 7 Golden Rules of the Vision Zero. This year's competition was was addressed to young people aged 15-24. The participants were supposed to prepare a film under the theme "My Vision Zero - Prevention Strategy in Agriculture".

The Pakistani province of Punjab is making ambitious steps to promote safety, health and well-being at work. One its ministers recently became a Vision Zero Ambassador, and an awareness raising campaign is being built up, including the launch of the Vision Zero brochure in the Urdu language.

Vision Zero was launched at the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work in Singapore, two years ago. Next year, Vision Zero will return to the World Congress in Toronto, Canada. It will be an occasion to look at the tremendous successes in building up the campaign, and to look at what the next steps will be in order to make Vision Zero a reality.

Vision Zero company SRV Rakennus Oy, a well-established construction company in Finland, is implementing Vision Zero with the three pillars of safety, health and well-being at work. During the Vision Zero Summit in Helsinki, organized by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH), a site visit was organized to the Hus Bridge Hospital Construction Project of SRV.

One of the highlights of the recent Vision Zero Summit in Helsinki, Finland, was the launch of a new Global Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). The Summit was also a key moment to reflect on successes to date, and outlining a strategy for the future.
